UNA at ASU
About
A branch of the United Nations Foundation and UNA-USA, UNA at ASU is dedicated to building an understanding of, and support for, the ideals and work of the UN among the ASU community. We are also devoted to educating, inspiring, and mobilizing our members to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, strengthening the United Nations system, promoting constructive United States leadership in that system and achieving the goals of the United Nations Charter.
Members of UNA at ASU act as ambassadors for the United Nations and work to educate themselves and others on the vital work of the UN. Across the nation, a network of young UN supporters are mobilizing to build a bright future for our generation and inspire young students to advocate for the global issues that they care most deeply about.
By joining UNA at ASU, members receive access to tools and resources to advocate for the UN and the opportunity to be lifelong leaders. Our mission is to help students build leadership skills that will propel them forward while making a difference, learn how to meet with elected officials to talk about the issues that matter most, and dive into some of the most pressing issues facing the world today.
